Following the successful launch of their acclaimed second issue in November 2024, Ragaire Literary Magazine are launching Issue 3. Full of moving and unsettling stories, thought provoking essays and poetry that describes in vivid detail the daily individual surprises and gifted moments in each corner of the world.

The Spring/Summer 2025 issue will launch on Friday, May 30th at 6:30 pm in The PorterShed on Market Street in Galway.

Issue 3 of Ragaire will be launched by acclaimed Galway poet and filmmaker Luke Morgan. Luke’s third full-length collection, ‘Blood Atlas’, was recently published by Arlen House. Luke was also awarded this year’s Lawrence O’Shaughnessy Award for Poetry from the Center for Irish Studies, University of St. Thomas, St Paul, Minnesota. He joins Eavan Boland, Paula Meehan and Thomas McCarthy in receiving the award that is granted each year to a poet resident in Ireland.

Founding Editor Cormac Culkeen feels that Ragaire is getting better and better: “I’m very excited about where we’re going. Issue 1 and 2 were of an exceptionally high quality, with moments of disquiet, revelation and capturing all those small, best moments that make life such a surprising thing. The response to Ragaire has been brilliant. We want to keep building on this, and we think that Issue 3 is our best to date. We want each issue to be a step up from the last one.”
